Privacy notice
This notice explains what the Draggo apps and draggo.am collect, why, who processes it, how long it is kept and how you delete it. You can read it without an account.
Policy version: 2026-09-27-v1
In short: recording works offline without an account. Precise coordinates are never uploaded. Nothing is sold, and nothing is used for advertising.
What we collect
Draggo collects only what the product needs. Most of it is created by you.
- Account: your email address and a login identifier, handled by Firebase Authentication. An account is needed only for cloud backup and the community.
- Declared vehicle data: make, model, year, powertrain, transmission, drivetrain, nickname, setup notes and optional declared power. No VIN or licence plate is required.
- Run results: the estimated time, protocol and calculation version, quality label and reasons, and a relative speed chart.
- Replay packages (optional cloud backup): a location-free file with relative timestamps and normalized speed and motion data. It contains no coordinates, no exact capture time and no device identifiers.
- Photos and posts: car photos, captions and comments you publish. Photo metadata (EXIF) is stripped and the image is re-encoded before upload.
- Support metadata: phone model and OS version attached to a backup so that recording problems can be diagnosed.
- Moderation records: reports you file or that are filed about your content, and blocks.
What we do not collect
- No location tracking. Precise coordinates are processed in memory on your phone during a session only. They are not written to recording files and not sent to our servers. There is no map and no route.
- No exact capture time in anything that leaves your phone; runs use relative timestamps.
- No advertising identifiers, no ad networks, no analytics SDKs in the apps or on this site.
- No sale of data, ever, and no use of your data for advertising.
Providers that process data for us
Draggo runs on a small set of hosted services. Each processes data only to provide the service.
- Firebase Authentication (Google): email sign-in, password reset and email verification.
- Google Cloud Storage: private storage for replay packages and photos, accessed through short-lived links.
- Render: hosting for the Draggo API, the PostgreSQL database that stores product data, and this website.
- Email delivery for verification, reset and deletion messages, sent in the language you chose.
Processing locations follow these providers' regions. We do not promise single-country data residency.
How long data is kept
- Raw sensor files on your phone: kept in app-private encrypted storage for up to 30 days or 250 MB, then the oldest raw files are removed. Saved summaries and charts stay until you delete them.
- Cloud replay files: raw replay packages in cloud backup expire after 90 days. Summaries, results and setup snapshots stay until you delete the run or the account.
- Saved results, cars and posts: until you delete them.
- Account deletion: access is revoked and public content unpublished immediately; product data and the identity-provider record are deleted within 30 days.
- Abuse and security records: a narrow set of moderation and security records (for example a report about content, or a block) may be kept after deletion for a disclosed period so that bans and abuse handling keep working.
This website
draggo.am is a static site hosted on Render. It sets no cookies and loads no analytics or advertising scripts. The hosting provider keeps standard server logs for a short period for security.
If you choose a language, the site stores that choice in your browser only (localStorage) to highlight it next time. It never redirects you based on it, on your IP address or on your location.
The account-deletion form sends the email address you type, and the language of the page, to api.draggo.am. Requests are rate-limited and answered neutrally.
Deleting your data
You can delete individual runs, cars, posts and comments in the app at any time. Deleting a run removes its post.
You can delete your whole account in the app on Android and iOS, or through the verified web flow at draggo.am/en/delete-account/. We never delete an account from an unverified email request.
Local data on your phone is under your control: uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes it. Screenshots that other people took of public content cannot be recalled.
